Good Clean Clinical Care™ goes further than other vaginal tests on the market by reporting actual microbial counts

Gain actionable insight into your vaginal health

Some bacteria are beneficial in small amounts but may cause symptoms when overgrown. Our broad-spectrum panel also detects emerging pathogens often overlooked in routine testing, providing a more complete and clinically meaningful picture.

This test uses the same qPCR technology that physicians rely on to routinely diagnose vaginal conditions. We created it so your doctor will trust the results — and so you'll finally get answers that lead to real treatment, not more guesswork.

Want real answers about your vaginal health?

Take a look at a sample qPCR Vaginal Health Panel report

Understand Your Vaginal Health Index

Vaginal health is predicted by the dominance of healthy lactobacilli in the vaginal microbiome. The species and abundance of lactobacilli present in your microbiome impacts your ability to create a protective vaginal environment. Your vaginal health index is an easy way to understand your current ability to protect your vaginal health.

Test results example
What Your Panel Measures

Your panel results will show you the actual counts of detected microbes from the total of 56 targets.

Microbiome Distribution

See how protective, disruptive, and intermediate microbes are distributed. A healthy balance means more protective microbes and fewer disruptive ones.

Your Detailed Results

A detailed list of the microbes detected in your sample, organized by protective, disruptive, and intermediate groups. Includes the actual counts for each microbe, giving you a clearer understanding of your microbiome’s balance. Knowing the quantity—not just the presence—of each microbe helps assess the strength of protective species and identify signs of imbalance.

Microbiome result summary
Understanding Each Microbe

You’ll get a clear explanation of each microbe and what symptoms or conditions it’s commonly associated with.

Actual Counts

See the exact number of microbes detected—not just whether they’re present. Actual counts give a clearer picture of your microbiome balance and help track changes over time.

We’re serious about changing women’s health

Don't see answer to your question?

The vaginal microbiome is a community of bacteria and other microorganisms that help maintain vaginal health. Beneficial bacteria, particularly Lactobacillus species, help keep the vaginal environment acidic, which supports a healthy balance and helps protect against harmful microbes.

Factors such as antibiotics, hormonal changes, stress, and sexual activity can disrupt this balance, leading to vaginal dysbiosis and symptoms like odor, discharge, irritation, or recurring infections. Understanding your vaginal microbiome can help identify imbalances and guide more personalized care.

The Vaginal Microbiome Test may be helpful for women experiencing recurrent BV, yeast infections, vaginal odor, unusual discharge, irritation, itching, urinary symptoms, or ongoing vaginal health concerns. It can also be valuable for women who want a deeper understanding of their vaginal microbiome and personalized guidance for maintaining long-term vaginal health.

Our vaginal microbiome test uses a highly targeted quantitative PCR method to detect and accurately quantify 56-key microbes known to impact vaginal health. Unlike other tests that use whole genome sequencing (which provides broad but less precise results), our approach tells you exactly which microbes are present and in what amounts. By showing which targeted organisms are detected and in what amounts, the test provides additional microbiome context for licensed clinicians to consider alongside symptoms, health history, and clinical evaluation. These insights support more informed conversations, more individualized care, and more thoughtful clinician-guided decisions.

Once your vaginal microbiome sample arrives at our lab, results are typically available within 7-10 business days. You’ll receive email updates along the way to keep you informed as your sample is received, processed, and finalized. As soon as your results are ready, they’ll be available in your dashboard so you can review them and take the next steps in your care.

Once your test results are ready, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know they are available to review in your patient dashboard.
From your test results page, you can schedule a virtual consultation with one of our licensed providers. During the visit, your provider will review your test results, symptoms, and health history, then discuss personalized treatment recommendations based on your vaginal microbiome findings.
