The base that makes the difference

Most prescription products use generic, petroleum cream bases that were not designed for vaginal or vulvar tissue health. These bases are often hyperosmolar (which strip the vaginal lining) and are poorly matched to vaginal pH which causes irritation to sensitive tissues which leads to burning discomfort and burning tolerability. BiomeNourish™ was designed with patented Bio-Match® technology to protect vaginal health while treating common symptoms and conditions.

Vaginal microbiome test kit

Gain actionable insights into your vaginal health

2 out of 3 vaginal infections are misdiagnosed because so many vaginal conditions mimic each other’s symptoms. To help address that gap, we developed a proprietary, multi-organism qPCR-based vaginal microbiome test that provides quantitative results for you and your provider. These results are intended to help inform care in combination with symptoms, history, and clinical evaluation.

Quantitative, qPCR-Based Testing

Unlike relative abundance methods, our proprietary qPCR-based microbiome test provides quantitative results on targeted organisms, offering clearer, more structured information for you and your provider.

Track Changes Over Time

With repeat testing, our broad-spectrum microbiome test helps reveal how your vaginal microbiome profile changes over time, supporting a more longitudinal view of vaginal health.

Clinically Relevant Insights

Our broad-spectrum panel provides clinically relevant organism-level information to help inform provider conversations and support more personalized care decisions.

Our treatments use a specialized base, BiomeNourish™, developed with patented Bio-Match® technology to better align with the vaginal environment. This helps support beneficial bacteria while delivering treatment, improving comfort and promoting a healthier microbiome over time. Unlike many standard prescription treatments that use generic petroleum-based creams which can disrupt the natural pH and may irritate sensitive tissue, leading to discomfort or reduced tolerability, our formulations are designed specifically for vaginal and vulvar tissue.

Compounding medicine is the process of creating customized medications or therapeutic formulations prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy under the direction of a healthcare provider. Unlike mass-produced medications, compounded therapies can be tailored to meet a patient’s specific needs, including the type of ingredient used, strength, route of delivery, or formulation base. In vaginal care, compounding may be used when standard commercial products do not fully address a patient’s symptoms, sensitivities, or tissue needs. This can be especially important for cancer survivors and menopausal patients experiencing vaginal dryness, irritation, tissue fragility, or discomfort.
Compounded vaginal therapies may allow healthcare providers to:

  • Customize localized treatment approaches
  • Select nonhormonal or tissue-supportive ingredients
  • Choose a formulation base designed for sensitive tissue
  • Adjust delivery methods for comfort and tolerability
  • Support long-term maintenance care under clinical supervision
Because vaginal health can be influenced by tissue condition, hormone changes, and the vaginal microbiome, some clinicians use compounded therapies as part of a broader, personalized care plan focused on comfort, tolerability, and symptom support.

A vaginal microbiota test can be helpful if you experience recurring or persistent symptoms, or if you want a deeper understanding of what’s causing imbalance. While treatment can often be started based on your symptoms alone, testing provides a more precise picture and allows for a more personalized approach. Our vaginal microbiota panel uses a targeted quantitative PCR method to detect and measure 56-key microbes known to impact vaginal health. Unlike broader sequencing methods, this approach shows not only which microbes are present, but also their exact levels—an important factor in understanding imbalance and guiding more effective treatment.

No, every vaginal microbiome test includes a comprehensive report and a custom plan of clear next steps. But prescription treatments are not included in the price of the test.

In certain states, state regulations require a live video consultation before care can be provided.
